About

Eternal History is a narrative history podcast exploring religion, mysticism, and the sacred traditions that shaped the human experience. Host Brendon Orr delivers immersive, ~30-minute episodes that uncover the origins, myths, philosophies, and historical context behind the world's religions and mystical movements.

From the ancient wisdom of the Upanishads and the desert revelations of the prophets, to the ecstatic poetry of the Sufis and the quiet meditation halls of the East, each episode treats religious history as living story—complex, contested, and deeply human. Eternal History weaves comparative religion & spirituality, sacred texts, and mystical philosophy into accessible storytelling for modern seekers, students, and curious minds.
